Contests
The Arizona State Poetry Society’s Annual and Member Contests are the high point of ASPS’s offerings. The Annual Contest features at least 10 categories in a variety of formats and topics, each with its own cash prizes.
The Member Contests are featured five times a year in three different categories with cash prizes. Contest winners in both contests are featured in our annual anthology Sandcutters.
We are also supporters of the National Contest of NFSPS.

Arizona State Poetry Society offers an Annual Contest, open to members and non-members, each year, beginning in June.
Member Contests
ASPS encourages members to participate in the ASPS Member Only Poetry Contest.
The ASPS Member Contest is held five times a year in the months of January, March, May, July, and September.
NFSPS Contests
NFSPS offers a variety of poetry contests each year – there’s something for everyone!
